Discipline Your Mind And See How Great You Can Be
When you discipline your mind, you allow yourself to achieve much more than you think you are capable of.
If there is something you really want to achieve, you have to be willing to take a chance, even though you may be afraid. If you don't take the risk, the opportunity may be gone for ever.
Much depends on how you see yourself. What type of person do you feel you are? Are you capable, or do you believe that you normally don't do a very good job?
Whatever your answer is, it is these thoughts that make you the way you are. You know what this means don't you? It is possible change the way you are if you want to.
Of course, it's not quite that easy. However, if you are determined, and can discipline your mind, it is possible. The first thing you have to do is believe that you can change.
If your doubts have been caused by other people's comments, it is important that you stop listening
to this negative information.
You have to retrain your subconscious mind to accept that you are an amazing human being! What a great thought, and you can be this, if you truly believe in yourself.
Start by listening to how you think of yourself. Do your own thoughts put you down? Are you saying you can't rather than you can? It's those negative thoughts that are causing your problem.
I know that sounds too easy, but it is true. You are the result of how you see yourself. Why not start by
seeing yourself in a positive way?
Positive affirmations will help. Choose ones that you can relate to. Ones that you know if you said them often enough will make you way you want to be. Say them everyday, when you wake up, before you go to sleep at night, every time you think of them.
Don't give up after a week because they don't work -
that's negative, and this is the new confident you! Stay positive. Discipline yourself to keep going with the affirmations.
They will gradually make you the way you want to be.
